Bullying is an issue that parents cannot afford to ignore. In this DVD, Damarys Bordonaro – a crisis counselor and guidance counselor at a large urban high school – talks to parents about bullying. She explains the basics of bullying, and gives examples of how bullying takes place at school and outside of school. Parents will learn how to help their children combat bullying behaviors. They will learn strategies to help and empower a child who has been bullied, as well as effective techniques for a child who is a bully. This DVD is a must for every parent!
DVD Presenter Damarys Bordonaro, LMHC, LICSW, has been counseling students and has been providing mediation and crisis intervention at Lawrence High School in Massachusetts since 1997. A practicing therapist and experienced teacher, Ms. Bordonaro has more than 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families.
